Bulbophyllum grandiflorum is native to New Guinea, Malaysia, the Solomon Islands, Sumatra and Sulawesi; it is an epiphytic orchid species with green-yellow to pale bronze-coloured flowers; these are around 10-15 cm in size, quite striking and impressive; it can flower for up to a month.

Offered as a “plant family” with 4-5 plants/shoots (on which the flowering then begins) in a pot, not over-fertilised, therefore robust & healthy (100% organic quality over quantity!), not hardy, also suitable for light/semi-shady locations (please avoid direct sunlight), from own propagation – division of the mother plant; planted in self-mixed substrate specially adapted for orchids (the plant does not need to be repotted for the next 1-2 years); spray frequently with (rain)water; enjoy your new orchid beauty Bulbophyllum grandiflorum!
