Dyckia Marnier-Lapostollei, very slow growing; with grey-green leaves covered with silvery-white, scale-like hairs; mature plants can form a spike up to 90 cm high in summer with orange-yellow tubular flowers, for a fully sunny location; during active growth, the plants need regular water to become happy; the soil should not be too wet, but always evenly moist; in winter, when growth is dormant, you can reduce the amount of water by half. over time the plants form the young plants or offshoots from which new plants grow; these can easily be separated from the mother plant.

…from the private succulent collection; not over-fertilised therefore top healthy and robust (quality before quantity!), no sprays – 100% organic quality, not winter-hardy; species fairly overwintered in the winter garden, potted up in self-mixed permeable organic substrate; repotting only desired in about 1-2 years, between 05.-09.
